Creative Strategist Job Summary:
At Sociomark, a Media Planner & Buyer evaluates project, brand and campaign goals and then effectively plans audience communication strategies, often resulting in a paid media buy. This position requires a deep and thorough understand of the current media landscape, including all traditional mass media and emerging media tactics. It’s essential that candidates’ possess experience managing self-service paid media platforms (i.e. Google AdWords, Facebook, etc.) and must have experience planning/purchasing traditional media channels (i.e. Outdoor, Print, Radio). Ideal candidates to have 1-3 years of experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Personally develop comprehensive media plans for Sociomark clients.
- Personally execute media buying duties for Sociomark clients.
- Possess solid understanding of the business and market dynamics of assigned clients.
- Work closely with account executives to schedule and monitor all projects.
- Provide accurate cost estimates.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks, as directed by Managing Director/Director of Media.
- Secondary Responsibilities: Vendor and Client Relationships.
- Foster good working relationships with third-party media vendors.
- Develop comprehensive media performance reports.
- Assist in making presentations to client.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Advertising and marketing strategies.
- Sales and direct response strategies.
- Self-service digital media platforms.
- Mass media tactics and landscape.
- Global marketing/Ads Experience will be given first preference.
- Digital and social media best practices.
- Radio and Television production.
